Chocolate Cosmos atrosanguineus - Extinct in the Wild

Extinct in the wild. This species has been saved by horticulture. It was collected in Mexico and has never been found again. The flowers have a delightful chocolate fragrance in hot, sunny weather. It flowers from June to the first frosts when we bring it in for the winter. Visited by bumblebees.
