Pink Rose Butterfly Pachliopta

A laboured flight. The toxic nature of this butterfly means that the birds learn to avoid it and it never has to fly to fast. It has a distinctive flight with very shallow wing beats. This species is one of a group of similar looking species found in S. E. Asia. It is endemic to the Philippines.
