Mamba Swallowtail Graphium colonna

A green swordtail. A small, streamlined swallowtail that has an extremely swift flight. There are a number of green and blue swordtails that characterise the African forests. they can often be seen puddling on the sides of roads. This species is closely related to G. policenes save that it lacks the blue blotches on the hindwing.
